The stand-collar sweater with a short zipper at the neck: collar closed when it is cold, open when it gets warmer. The tall, smooth collar is not rolled and does not scratch. Black is the classic choice: slim, strict and instantly elegant, worn alone or under a blazer.
The special detail is the narrow white contrast edge of about one centimeter: on the collar edge, the cuffs and the hem. On black it is especially crisp without being loud, and works best with the collar open.
Knitted in 18 gauge from pure merino wool. That is a very fine gauge: the knit is thin, smooth and soft, adds hardly any bulk and still keeps you warm. So it slips easily under a blazer.
Material: 100% merino wool, 18 gauge. Gentle cycle at 30 degrees or hand wash, dry flat. Fit: regular. Sizes 48 to 60.
