The stand-collar sweater with a short zipper at the neck: collar closed when it is cold, open when it gets warmer. The tall, smooth collar is not rolled and does not scratch. Dark blue is the color that works as well under a blazer and coat as it does on its own with jeans.
The special detail is the narrow white contrast edge of about one centimeter: on the collar edge, the cuffs and the hem. It is understated, but gives the dark knit a clear line, especially when the collar is open.
Knitted in 18 gauge from pure merino wool. That is a very fine gauge: the knit is thin, smooth and soft, adds hardly any bulk and still keeps you warm. So it slips easily under a blazer.
Material: 100% merino wool, 18 gauge. Gentle cycle at 30 degrees or hand wash, dry flat. Fit: regular. Sizes 48 to 60.
