The classic V-neck sweater: a cleanly ribbed V neckline that lies flat and shows a shirt or polo underneath if you like, and looks just as good without anything. No logos, no patterns. Black is the classic choice: slim, strict and instantly elegant, worn alone or under a blazer.
Knitted in 18 gauge from pure merino wool. That is a very fine gauge: the knit is thin, smooth and soft, adds hardly any bulk and still keeps you warm. So it slips easily under a blazer without tightness at the arm.
Long sleeves with narrow ribbed cuffs and a slightly wider rib at the hem. This way the sweater keeps its line, even after many washes.
Material: 100% merino wool, 18 gauge. Gentle cycle at 30 degrees or hand wash, dry flat. Fit: regular. Sizes 48 to 58.
